New to Startup Donut

I've always been interested in business and the idea of being my own boss, most of the members here are already business owners and have years of experience. I still haven't made the first step and still in the important planning stage. I just wanted to run a quick idea past people and get some suggestions or opinions good or bad.

I was thinking about starting up a PR company that manages singers, clowns, entertainers, etc not famous singers, singers that sing in pubs and clubs. I'd start by advertising and getting people on my books and go around the local pubs and clubs and try and get the owners to contact my agency for entertainment. This would extend to kids partys where parents could ring me for example a magician/clown, the business could extend to all different trades. this would not bring in a great income in the first few months but eventually once expanded over the local area and spread out to surrounding locations could start making a decent income.

I have other ideas alongside this to offer to clients, I just wanted some opinions good or bad so look forward to replies. I know in business you must keep your cards close to your chest, but this is a brief outline of my plan.
