Hi,
I will be brief. I have no business knowledge or training whatsoever. I studied Software Engineering at uni. I see how futile working for someone else is. It is groundhog, I am a robot, I will never earn more than enough to get me through a month at best. I want to use my full potential, my motivation, my drive.
I have only been into this "own business" idea for about 3 weeks. I have begun to write a business plan but cannot go into depth because I don't know anything about business beyong: type of ownership (at a basic level) and that there are 4 Ps to marketing.
I do not want my business plan to come across naive, nor do I want to be it myself. I want to learn the basics of business but oddly, there is no where to learn it from top to bottom from: "what is a business?", via types of ownership, via financing, via marketing, etc.
I have tried: bized, some podcasts, and various sites with powerpoint notes (too brief!)
Does anyone have any links to resources? I don't only need to know "some" business, but also know "how much I don't know" about business. I need a site that babies you.
Any help please? I work full time so I only get a few hours a day (like 2 at most) to focus on this. Thanks.
