Since the pandemic of 2020, sole traders and small businesses have faced a prolonged cost-of-living crisis and inflation.
Somewhat surprisingly, despite these challenges, 66% of small business owners revealed that they expect to fare better in 2024 than in 2023 in the annual Donut Small Business Survey. Donut site users also shared how they plan to promote their business in the year ahead and the key challenges they expect to face.
