The firm has offices in Silverstone and central London. Unlike some accountancy firms, Accounts Assist allows clients to fix fees upfront, with all tariffs displayed on the company website.

About the expert

Anita founded Accounts Assist in 2008. A fully qualified, ACCA certified chartered accountant, Anita lives in Northamptonshire with her husband and 2-year-old daughter, Ella.

Anita left school at age 15 with no qualifications and decided to return to education after years in poorly paid, unfulfilling roles. After graduating with a 2.1 in applied accountancy, Anita worked as an accountant in the city for ten years.

Disillusioned by the long hours and cut-throat culture, Anita saw an opportunity to do things differently as well as achieve a better work/life balance in the process and set up Accounts Assist.
