Nationwide seminars help new business growth

Entrepreneurs will be able to access free advice about starting and growing a business following the launch of Barclay's Business Springboard seminars this April.

The seminars are open to both Barclays and non-Barclays customers and will take place in cities across the UK.

They will be led by business expert and author of leadership guide Corporate Voodoo, René Carayol, and are run in conjunction with Business Link, HM Revenue & Customs, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies.

"The seminars aim to provide credible help and support to anyone who has a new business idea or wants to take their current venture to the next level," said Carayol.

Businesses that attend will receive practical advice on how to launch a new venture or build on existing ideas, as well as learning how to create a successful business pitch to use with investors, partners, employees, customers and suppliers.

"I will be joined by people with business success stories from the local area, who will give practical advice and tips in order to inspire and connect with budding and existing entrepreneurs," said Carayol. "The sessions will be interactive and engaging, where delegates will be able to learn from people who have been there and done it."

The seminars will take place in ten locations including Cardiff, Birmingham, Ipswich, Manchester, Glasgow and Southampton.
